Mayfield is elected president of the state trade association

Missouri REALTORS®️ recently announced the appointment of John D. Mayfield of Farmington as the organization’s 2022 president. With over 25,000 members, Missouri REALTORS®️ is the state’s largest trade association.

Mayfield, along with incoming Women’s Council of REALTORS®️ President Tammy Sherrell-Shortt, will be honoured at the Missouri REALTORS®️ Winter Business Conference on, Jan. 20. The inaugural night event will be held at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Gateway Arch and will be open to members only.

“I am honoured to serve as Missouri REALTORS®️ president,” Mayfield said. “Our organisation has a long history of advocating for Missourians’ property rights.” Our commitment to assisting everyone in achieving the American Dream of homeownership is a top priority, and I pledge to commit to and lead the 25,000 Missouri REALTORS®️ in achieving these goals, strategic initiatives, and more in 2022.”

Mayfield, a licenced REALTOR®️ since 1978, focuses on residential real estate in the Farmington area as the broker/owner of Mayfield Real Estate, Inc. He also devotes his time to educating real estate agents across the United States on marketing and technology.

Mayfield was named Mineral Area Board of REALTORS®️ REALTOR®️ Associate of the Year in 1984 and REALTOR®️ of the Year in 1987, as well as receiving the Missouri REALTORS®️ Richard A. Mendenhall Leadership Award in 2014. He has served as a state and national director, as well as as the president of a local board.

Mayfield will serve as president alongside President-Elect Andrea Sheridan, Treasurer Derek Schriewer, and Immediate Past President Janet Rodriguez Judd, as well as the association’s CEO. With the exception of the CEO, each of these officials makes up the 2022 Leadership Team and serves a one-year term on a volunteer basis.
