The Ministry of Commerce & Industry is special efforts to promote India as a global MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination.
To compliment these efforts, NIMA declares Year 2025 as the “Year of Indian MICE Tourism” where year along events & activities would be planned across the country, to promote MICE Tourism, from Raipur to Ranchi, Madurai to Mohali and from Agra to Amritsar.
NIMA also announces June 21st as “World MICE Tourism Day” since this date marks the summer solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, symbolizing the height of the travel and event season. It’s a time when many conferences, exhibitions, and business events take place globally, making it a fitting time to celebrate and recognize the significance of the MICE industry.
