Due to the untimely demise of Shri Vinay Kumar Gupta, the former General Secretary of the Indian Printing Packaging & Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPAMA), the Governing Council held a meeting on October 12, 2024. In a unanimous decision, Mr. Iqbal Singh, of M/s Sond Engineering Works, Amritsar, was elected as the new General Secretary for the remainder of the 2023- 2025 term.
IPAMA, which now boasts more than 530 members across India, is confident that Mr. Singh’s leadership will further strengthen the organization. Upon his appointment, Mr. Singh immediately took charge and began focusing on the success of the upcoming 16th edition of PRINTPACK INDIA, one of the most anticipated events in the industry.
Mr. Iqbal Singh, a partner at M/s Sond Engineering Works, is a respected figure in both the Indian and international printing industries. He joined his family’s printing business and, through his dedication and visionary leadership, expanded it globally. Founded in 1965, M/s Sond Engineering Works, along with its sister concern, M/s Sond Associates Engineering Pvt. Ltd., has grown to become a renowned name in the industry.
With Mr. Singh at the helm, IPAMA is poised for continued growth and success.
